    Frederick Children's Chorus
    Judy Dubose, Music Director
    10716 Etzler Mill Road
    Woodsboro, MD 21798

The Frederick Children's Chorus(FCC) was founded in
1985 with a mission to provide high quality choral music education through a performance based program.
The FCC performs in two self-produced concerts a year and is invited to sing locally and regionally throughout the school calendar year. The FCC has performed with groups like the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and with Judy Collins, for local ceremonies, and in regional children's chorus festivals. In partnership with the Frederick County Parks and Recreation Department, the FCC organizes and teaches two Summer Chorus Camp sessions each summer. The chorus has an annual membership of 150-200 singers. Once a singer is invited to join, the FCC program can support their music education through their senior year in high school.
Join us! The chorus accepts new member applications every spring/summer for students entering grades 3-6 the following fall. Children must receive a recommendation from either a public school or private music teacher, mail in a completed application form with the recommendation, and attend an Orientation Session to be considered for membership. The Frederick Children's Chorus is a 501c3 non-profit organization, not affiliated with any school or church system.

    The Fredericktowne Players’ Townesingers
The Towne Singers are a fun loving group of singers and actors who like to spend time together and perform! The group was formed in 2000 as the brain-child of Tony DeRosa and has taken on several incarnations since that time. They are a fund-raising arm of The Fredericktowne Players, Inc. The Singers can regularly be seen in the lobby performing during the Opening Night of FTP’s productions.

The Singers love to perform and will do so for a minimum tax deductible donation to the Fredericktowne Players of $150 for 20-30 minutes up to $300 for an hour. A portion of their proceeds goes towards the scholarship fund which awards one Senior at each High School in Frederick County a scholarship which can be used towards their college tuition, books, etc.
